Abstract

Housing is a fundamental pillar of the welfare state; in this regard, Article 33 of the Spanish Constitution recognises the right to private property and inheritance, and Article 47 recognises the right of all Spaniards to enjoy decent and adequate housing; this study will focus on the analysis of family housing in situations of marital or relationship crisis, as well as the first home (habitual or residence) and secondary home in the presence of economic and social vulnerability, and the phenomenon of squatting and unsquatting and its legal consequences.
