Abstract

Royal Decree 1312/2024, of December 23, regulates the procedure for the Unified Lease Registry and establishes the Digital One-Stop Shop for the collection and exchange of data on short-term leases; this regulation lays the groundwork for compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2024/1028 of the European Parliament and the Council, dated April 11, 2024, regarding the collection and exchange of data related to short-term accommodation rental services; this article examines the main practical implications of this new regulatory framework, focusing specifically on its impact on property owners who rent their dwellings for residential purposes.
