Abstract

The regime of separation of goods is characterized because every spouse preserves the ownership of the goods acquired before agreeing on the regime or what he acquires later in force the regime, likewise, to every spouse there corresponds to him the administration, possession and free disposition of the goods and in addition, the obligations contracted by every spouse will be of his exclusive responsibility. During the force of the regime every spouse will contribute to the maintenance of the loads of the married (articles 1318 and 1438 of the Civil Code) as the parts have agreed and, for lack of agreement, one will proceed to the contribution in proportion to the respective economic resources, being the work for the house a way of contribution. To the extinction and liquidation of the regime, which can be a consequence of a matrimonial crisis, the work for the house will be able to give right to compensation. The present study is going to centre on the analysis of that there represents the maintenance of the loads of the marriage, in force the regime of separation, and after his extinction and liquidation the patrimonial effects that stem from the same one
