Registral aspects of the marriage economic regime after the reform of Law 2012011, of july 21, of the Civil Register: past and present

Abstract

Since the publication of the Civil Registry Law of June 8, 1957, it was suggested by the doctrine whether the registration seat on the matrimonial economic regime was voluntary or obligatory. The new Civil Registration Law of July 21, 2011, not only replaces the previous law, but also resolves the aforementioned doctrinal controversy, among others, through article 60, which declares the obligation with the marriage registration regime Economic marriage.
