The intestate succession of the State in the Basque Country

Abstract

The entry into force of Law 5/2015 of 25 June, Basque Civil Law, supposes the abolition of succession abintestato in favor of the State in the Basque Country, and, consequently, the extension of the allegation in favor of its Administration General Autonomous to non-surveyed territories, which never had this specialty. We analyze the issue in relation to the recent jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court in matters of civil jurisdiction.
