Abstract

In this paper we analyze, from a doctrinal and jurisprudential standpoint, the basic ruling principles of teamwork. In the following text we will focus on the study of the principie of division of labor and the principle of trust.

Aside, we make a reference to the scope of the principle of confidence in both the horizontal division of labor —with the understanding that the limit is set in the breakdown of normality—, and in the vertical division, where the greater the confidence that it is deposited in the assistants, the lower the duty of monitoring to be performed in regard to their activity.

Finally, we make a case law review of the competences attached to the anesthetist role in each of the phases throughout the surgical medical activity.
