Abstract

This article aims to conduct a review of the rules of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on a Common European Sales Law (CESL) on damages and interest. To this goal, we analyze each and every one of the precepts concerning this matter, relating them to the corresponding articles in other preceding international texts and the rules of the Spanish legal system, noting their similarities and differences. This analysis is done with critical view, taking approach on the opportunity of the proposed rules and their compatibility with Spanish Law.
