Abstract

Visiting rights entitle a parent to communication and cohabitation with his or her child, but they must never be used as the vehicle for airing tensions, enmity and disagreements with the other parent. Both parents must cooperate in good faith. Visiting rights can be taken away only by a court, in specific cases where the authorities are compelled by law to act, and the guiding general principle is always the child's best interest.
