Property used as a place of worship has certain unique features entitling it to a special legal procedure. For that reason, it is necessary for some record to be made in the property registry, in the form of a marginal note, when arrangements are made to set property aside for use as a place of worship. This paper looks at what a place of worship is, as far as registration is concerned, and how places of worship may be registered. It then defends the need to register such arrangements and the way in which such arrangements must be made.
