Considerations on the successory phenomenon in titles of nobility: analysis and jurisprudential study

Abstract

The present work aims at the analysis and deepening in the matter relating to the treatment of hereditary phenomenon in relation to nobility titles. It is a complex subject and far from the general knowledge in the Civil Law field so, through the most recent jurisprudence, the key issues which support the phenomenon of succession in matters of titles of nobility will be addressed: on the one hand, that the title succeeds the founder and not the last noble title holder and, on the other hand, the question of the interpretation of the equality since the entry into force of Law 33/2006, of 30 October.
