Abstract

When the victim voluntarily decides to practice a dangerous activity, with this practice, they assume the risk of suffering the harm that carrying out the activity entails.  Sports practices that pose a risk to the physical integrity of the victim are an activity sector that frequently generates the opportunity to apply the assumption of the risk itself to paralyze the triggering of civil liability in the event of an accident.  This work will be devoted to the requirements that must be met for risk assumption to play as a cause of exclusion of civil liability and to the sectors of activity in which it has been applied, including the case that the damage occurs when passively as a mere spectator, they attend certain shows that may entail a risk, intrinsic to the nature of the activity, such as attending a soccer match.
